Little Étoile Hair Oil was shown to be safe for sensitive skin in a study conducted by an accredited dermatology clinic on 54 Australian subjects. It showed no signs of skin irritation (score of 0/4 on a skin irritation scale) after contact with upper arm skin over 24 hrs, compared to distilled water.  Read full report. Cyclopentasiloxane & Dimethiconol, Cyclohexasiloxane & Cyclopentasiloxane, Capric/Caprylic Triglyceride, Tocopherol, Carthamus tinctorius Seed Oil, Avena sativa Kernel Oil, Argania spinosa Kernel Oil, Prunus armeniaca Kernel Oil, Vitis vinifera Seed Oil, Parfum.

  • Safflower oil – high in linoleic acid, which nourishes scalp and hair follicles (Skolnik, 1977)
  • Argan oil – shown to protect hair like a barrier from free radical damage (Shafiri, 2023)
  • Apricot seed oil – a natural source of sterols and squalene that support delicate skin’s natural oil production (Rudzinska, 2017)
  • Grape seed oil – antioxidant, antibacterial, helps reduce irritation (Khanna, 2002) and very good at restoring hair smoothness (Demir, 2023)
  • Tocopherols – natural plant forms of vitamin E that protect against free-radical damage, which occurs in dry or inflamed skin (Michalak, 2022)

how to use

For daily use

Dispense 1-2 drops of Hair Oil into your palm, rub
hands together, and apply to the tips of dry hair.
Avoid using too much to prevent greasiness.

For after swim treatment

Apply Little Étoile Hair Oil before and after
swimming to restore moisture, detangle, and protect
hair from chlorine and saltwater.
Massage into damp hair, comb through, and style
as usual.
