1. Why is the pH of this product lower than our other products?

The pH of this serum allows the alpha-HA (citric acid) and beta-HA (salicylic acid) to work more effectively in retexturizing skin. Although our products are matched to skin’s pH, the slightly lower pH is still within the overall range of skin pH, so it is still safe.

2. Why isn’t it recommended that I use this serum everyday?

This serum has a mild exfoliating and sebum control action, which contributes to a mattifying effect, so it doesn’t need to be used everyday. But the product is safe for sensitive skin. Allowing a day in between uses can allow skin to recover its normal regenerative patterns.

3. What should I use and not use with this product?

The salicylic acid (BHA) in this product is okay to combine with products containing hyaluronic acid, because they both help to improve hydration and reduce potential irritation. Avoid using this product with niacinamide or retinol containing products, as the lower pH can affect how niacinamide and retinol work and can cause redness or irritation.
