FAQs
FAQs
1. Why is oil control important for teenage skin?
Although skin naturally produces a layer of oil (sebum), it can be a problem with teenage skin, because hormonal changes trigger a rapid increase in sebum during puberty. This leads to clogged, congested pores, blackheads and breakouts. Controlling oil production can therefore prevent exacerbation of these effects, to allow skin to transition more easily.
2. What does mattifying mean?
Although moisturizers are slightly thicker than serums and need more time to absorb, they are separated according to their skin finish afterwards. Mattifying moisturizers leave a more velvety, matt finish that is better suited to oily and very oily skin type, compared to glossifying products. The matte finish encourages the skin to breathe, minimizes the appearance of pores, and yet remains soft and hydrated.
