1. What’s the difference between moisturizing and hydrating?
This can be a bit confusing to understand. Basically, hydration refers to the skin’s natural moisture level. Moisturizing is a cosmetic process that helps to maintain and prevent loss of hydration, by targeting and supporting skin’s outer layers. These layers are a natural moisture barrier, made of lipids and skin cells, joined together into a sheet.
2. Will this moisturizer still work if I have oily or dry skin?
Yes, it will, however, it is more suited for teenagers with normal or dry skin type, as it has a slightly higher oil content, but the oils are non-comedogenic and well absorbed. If you have very oily skin, opt for our Mattifying/ Clarifying Moisturizer, which leaves a less glossy finish to the skin. Regardless of skin type, the product is designed to be effective at maintaining skin hydration, without forming a thick coating or barrier effect.
